1. Scanner mods - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
I'm not on the game atm so I forget the names of the mods; but, it's the low and high slot dropsuit scanner mods. Do they along with the skills really do any good for a scout? Do the skills do any good without the mods?

Lol, first of all you aren't supposed to use armor mods. It is a shield tank. However, you can mount limited armor and it helps as a small buffer for infantry AV. You won't be able to fit both big armor and big shield defense though. The fitting ...

I still love the SMG better. It is esp. Fun with a light suit. Next to sniper rifle I get more kills with the smg at CQ than with any AR et al.

It's been my experience that when I shoot the MCC that thing pops up on the scanner bigger than a Christmas tree. That way my whole team can spot it and know exactly where it is. So much for stealth muthafuckas!
